Bus Stops
There are three major corridors we travel. Our Newport Route, our Claremont Route and our Charlestown Route.  Please plan your rides accordingly to coincide with the listed stops and times.  Additional stops may be per-arranged by calling the CATS dispatcher (863-0003).  During inclement weather, road construction, and heavy traffic please expect delays.

On the Claremont Route we now offer pick-up and drop-off at the Claremont Train Depot.  Our bus picks up at the Claremont Opera House Square at 11:20AM and then goes to the train depot for 11:35AM and awaits the arrival of the train until 12:00 Noon for anyone that may want to go back into the Claremont area.

A one-way Newport-Claremont ride is $2.50.  A one-way “in-town” ride is $1.50. A eight-ride ticket costs $10.00.  A monthly pass with unlimited rides between Newport/Claremont/Charlestown costs $35.00.  A monthly pass for unlimited rides within the Claremont, Newport or Charlestown(one town only) costs $25.00.  Dial-a-Ride remains at $2.00 per pick-up, in Claremont only.

Please tell the driver as you are boarding if you will need to transfer to another bus.
